Fall Out Boy Release Second Single, ‘Heartbreak Feels So Good’
Earlier this week, Fall out Boy announced that they were going to be releasing their second single off of their upcoming album So Much (For) Stardust, which will release on the 24th of March via Fueled By Ramen.
The announcement came after their one-off Chicago show at the Metro, which is happening tonight, sold out very quickly.
Now, the day is here! The new song, called Heartbreak Feels So Good, follows the first single, Love From The Other Side, which the band released exactly a week ago.
On the release of the album, which is the follow-up to the band’s 2018 record MANIA, vocalist Patrick Stump has the following to say:
“Technology has made it really easy to make records much more quickly these days. There’s nothing wrong with that, and that spontaneity can be exciting. But we wanted to get back to the way we used to work. We wanted to make a record that was really lovingly crafted and deliberate and patiently guided – like someone cooked you a delicate meal. I’m not a very proud guy, but I’m pretty proud of this record.”
Unfortunately, on the same day they announced the new album, guitarist and founding member Joe Trohman revealed on Instagram, that he’s “stepping away from Fall Out Boy for a spell,” due to a decline in his mental health. We hope he feels better soon!
The new track comes with an accompanying music video, which you can check out below!
