Fall Out Boy Continue Teasing Their Return
Merry Christmas to us all as Fall Out Boy just gave us the best Christmas present!
A little under a month ago, Fall Out Boy started teasing their return by putting out an ad in the Chicago Tribune, a newspaper from the band’s hometown.
A little later, fans started receiving postcards in the mail titled Pink Seashell Beach with a message reading:
“I saw you in a bright clear field. Hurricane heat in my head. The kind of pain you feel to get good in the end. Inscribed like stone and faded by the rain: ‘Give up what you love give up what you love before it does you in…’”
Then, two websites were launched, “sending my love from pink seashell beach”, and “sending my love from the other side”.
When entering the beach website, you can see a pink seashell with the phrase, “The answers are inside of this.” and when clicking the shell, it flips over and shows a baseball. The screen then turns black and reads “The beach was never real. None of it is.” and shows the new Fall Out Boy logo.

The ‘other side’ website welcomes visitors with the sentence “WELCOME TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE APOCALYPSE”. When you click the “O” in “other”, the new Fall Out Boy logo, wearing a Santa hat, will fill the page.
The website also shows a button “RSVP to the other side”. and when you click it, a form opens with the title “If you build it, they will come” where fans can fill in their name, email and address.
Now, the band has released a video titled A Claymation Fall Out Boy Celebration in which we can, probably, hear a snippet of a new song.
The short is two minutes long and animated by Mr. Oz.
