Mark Hoppus To Release Memoir ‘Fahrenheit-182’ In 2025

Blink-182 bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus has announced the release of his memoir, Fahrenheit-182. Set to hit shelves on April 8th, 2025, the book promises a raw and insightful journey through Hoppus’ life, tracing his evolution from a self-described “angst-ridden kid” into a pop-punk icon.

Co-written with music journalist Dan Ozzi, the memoir will explore Hoppus’ formative years growing up in the 1980s, grappling with his parents’ divorce, moving across the country, and experimenting with different identities—from dork to goth to skate punk. The book will also delve into his lifelong passion for punk rock, skateboards, and MTV, leading up to the momentous creation of Blink-182 alongside his musical soulmate.

The memoir is more than just a rock star’s tale, however. In Fahrenheit-182, Hoppus also opens up about his ongoing struggles with anxiety and his recent, highly publicized battle with cancer. As the description notes, “it is a story for anyone who has ever wanted to quit but found a way to keep going.”

Fans eager to dive into Hoppus‘ life story can pre-order the book now via the official website, fahrenheit182.com, ahead of its release by Dey Street Books.

This release promises to be a must-read for Blink-182 fans and anyone interested in a humorous, heartfelt, and deeply relatable memoir.
